Leasing Assistant

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Answering telephones and taking calls from leasing prospects around the country to assist the leasing agents
  • Compiling mailing lists for email blasts and assisting with other direct marketing activities
  • Managing the Expiring Leases Report to track leases which are ending, renewal options coming due, etc. and assist with lease renewal discussions with existing tenants
  • Preparing tenant billings on a timely basis
  • Assisting the Marketing Manager with updating and coordinating changes on all marketing materials as needed
  • Scheduling appointments and coordinating trade show events
  • Processing leases, Tenant Improvement allowances, invoices and other documents
  • Managing electronic and paper files
  • Running rent rolls, sales reports and other reports
  • Drafting agreements including Management Agreements
  • Preparing and sending LOI’s, lease requisitions and other correspondence
  • Performing general administrative responsibilities including daily filing & retrieving files
  • Supporting all Leasing Dept. personnel
  • Collaborating with other departments
  • Providing general office support as needed

Requirements include: Minimum of 5 years experience in commercial real estate; college degree; proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Workshare and other computer programs; knowledge of MRI a big plus; excellent oral and written skills; must be a hard working team player.
